Terms & repair policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms apply to repair services and payments made through nextgengamerepair.com, operated by NextGen Game Repair, 465 Old Fincastle Rd, Lebanon, Virginia 24266 ("we", "us"). By booking a repair or paying an invoice you agree to these terms.
1. Services and pricing
- Prices on this website are in US dollars and cover the listed repair, including parts and labor, for one device or controller.
- Return shipping within the United States is free. You pay the cost of shipping your device to us.
- Turnaround times are estimates from the day we receive your device. They are not guarantees.
2. Diagnosis and additional repairs
If we find a different or additional problem, we contact you before doing any extra work. Extra work is only done with your approval, and we send an invoice that you can pay at nextgengamerepair.com/pay-invoice. If the booked repair cannot fix your device, we offer a refund under section 4.
3. Cancellations
- Before we receive your device: cancel at any time for a full refund. Call or email us with your order number.
- After we receive your device but before work starts: full refund, and we ship the device back to you free.
- After work has started: the order cannot be cancelled. Parts and labor already used are not refundable.
4. Refunds
- If we cannot complete a repair you paid for, we refund that repair in full.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks usually post them in 5 to 10 business days.
- If you never send in your device, contact us within 60 days of payment for a full refund.
5. Repair warranty
We warrant our parts and workmanship for 90 days from the date we ship your device back. If the same problem comes back in that time, send it in and we fix it at no charge, including shipping both ways. The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or tampering by anyone else after our repair.
6. Your device
- Remove game discs, cartridges, memory cards and accessories you do not want repaired. We are not responsible for items sent that are not part of the repair.
- Back up anything important. Repairs can sometimes require a reset, and we are not responsible for lost data or saves.
- Opening a device may void the manufacturer's warranty. If your device is still under manufacturer warranty, consider contacting the manufacturer first.
- Devices not collected or not paid for within 90 days after we notify you that the repair is complete may be considered abandoned, as permitted by Virginia law.
7. Shipping
Prepaid shipping kits: if you buy a kit, we mail a box, padding and a prepaid label to your shipping address, usually within 1 to 2 business days. Kits are refundable only if unused and the order is cancelled before you ship. Once the prepaid label is used, the kit is non-refundable.
If you ship on your own, pack your device carefully. We recommend tracked and insured shipping to us. We are not responsible for damage or loss before your package reaches our shop. Return shipments are sent with tracking, and the tracking number appears on the Track repair page.
8. Payments and disputes
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. If there is a problem with a charge, please contact us first so we can fix it quickly.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair.
